#VINOMUSIC: The Internet & Dornfelder

Music and Wine should be paired. We call this VINOMUSIC.

The holiday season is officially here, and it calls for busy times. There is lots of planning involved in preparing food, rounding up family & friends, and making sure you attend to all those on your gift list. Our local radio stations are pumping out the Christmas tunes, and you have no problem with that, but how about a peppy, soulful tune that can get you through your holiday duties, with a nice glass of red in hand?

Turn up ‘Famous’ by The Internet from their Grammy-nominated album Ego Death, and pour yourself a glass of Fritz Windisch Heimersheimer Rotenfels Dornfelder 2014. The German red wine is of a sweeter variety, carrying notes of cherries, red berries, and plum, with soft tannins, so no bite here! The sweet taste pairs well with the sweet falsetto vocals of The Internet’s lead-singer Syd, who croons about wanting to make YOU famous, on the track. Sip slow, dance in a circle around the kitchen, and wrap those gifts up like the Boss that you are.

Listen to ‘Famous’ here.
